FREEDOM – RESPONSIBILITY – A BETTER WORLD

Freedom is not absolute. It comes hand in hand with responsibility. The responsibility that in exercising our freedom, we do not impinge on the freedom of others. The responsibility to think for ourselves, to seek real and objective information and to make up our own minds.

Neither does freedom come cheap. Sometimes you have to fight for it, as the Slovenes discovered in 1991 and the Ukrainians are finding now. There’s nothing automatic about freedom. It is something for which we must be willing to sacrifice.

But freedom is also a very personal matter. The freedom to be ourselves, to be who we truly are, to develop ourselves to the utmost and to use that development to move towards a society that is more just, more equitable, to join our strength to that of others collectively to create a better world.

Our aim at OSMA Academy  is to help in this. We have tried to create an atmosphere here that encourages us to expand our minds, to expand our horizons, to discover hidden depths, not only in ourselves but also in the world around us.

We are not propounding any formula because there is no formula suitable for everybody, there’s no one size that fits all. That’s what freedom is all about. We’re all different and very, very special. Together we can create a picture. Let’s make it a harmonious one.

So, it is a call to action and let us do it together !

Behind us is a very special event, called OSMA CAMINO KRK WEEKEND – April 15-18, 2022

It was a great, deep experience for the participants from every perspective. Through walking near the sea, among big old trees in greenly forest, in the strong wind, called “burja” above Baška and “Moon” Plato and surrounded with the wild, hidden nature, which you cannot see if you are not ready to go deep into forest, and be in silence with your own thoughts! Listened to the music or talked around fire and telling the stories, … About life, about world, about justice, about freedom…

It was a path to open our hearts and minds and find hidden potentials within ourselves.

Amazing experience. We will do it again. For sure 😊
