Dear OSMA friends, colleagues, followers,

It was a perfect day. The first Friday in June, June 4th, showed promise from the start, but by the end of the day it was clear that it would deliver more than anticipated and more than hoped for.

June 4th was the day when OSMA venue officially opened its door to the public and the OSMA Academy announced the start of its programs – live in autumn.

There is something special and magic about the place and filled with the guests who celebrated the opening with us made it even more so. Instead of draining our energy (as you can imagine, planning an event into every single detail is always a challenge), it filled us with new enthusiasm and verve. There was not a single participant who would leave without having felt the special energy of this place, its people and its programs.

Three programs were presented into more detail, so those of you who were there, know what to expect –

The Genuine Leadership, where we learned four out of eight innate human qualities/intelligences. How to unfold them and how to apply them will be the topics of Module 1 and 2. Mojca Križnar convinclingly guided us through the program.

Heartstorming; What do music and business environment have in common? Miha Pogačnik and Andrej Božič showed us – more than you can imagine. Great art has a teaching power and it can address challenges and dilemmas regarding performance, motivation, inspiration, vision, direction, and action. We just have to learn how to really listen. LISTEN, not listen.

Mindfulness Retreat; Where else to practice mindfulness if not in an environment such as OSMA Leadership Academy? Zineta Vilman demonstrated how first to release the tension and then to sharpen our focus – a skill that is highly demanded in today’s rapidly changing world.
